Nevada was called Silver State for a reason and prospecting is a hobby that many residents in Las Vegas area still enjoy. While they may be hunting those gold nuggets with metal detectors now, the challenge is still there and old mines are a part of the history of the State of Nevada.

If golf is your favorite form of exercise, then walking some of the many beautiful golf courses will keep you fit. New residents to Las Vegas are delighted with the many golf courses all over the Las Vegas valley.
